After the last three successful Expos at beautiful sites in Europe—Stresa, Italy (2014), Montreux, Switzerland (2011), and Girona, Spain (2008)—the World Model Expo Chicago Committee is proud to be bringing the modeling world's premier event back to the United States for the first time since Boston in 2005 on the weekend of July 7-9, 2017.

UPDATE: Here is some news you should know and details to help you get to the chicago hilton, 720 s. michigan ave.

scroll down the page for the schedule of events.

GETTING TO THE HILTON, 720 S. MICHIGAN AVE.

If you are coming to Expo from O’Hare or Midway airports, your best bet is a cab or service such as Lyft or Uber. If you are not carrying a lot of luggage, you can take the CTA's Blue Line subway directly from O’Hare to the LaSalle Street stop and walk or cab a half-mile to the Hilton; the Google Maps directions can be found by clicking here.
If you are coming from Midway Airport, you can take the CTA's Orange Line subway directly from the airport to the Roosevelt Road stop and walk or cab a half-mile to the Hilton; the Google Maps directions can be found by clicking here.
If you are taking a train to Union Station, you can walk or take a cab 1.2 miles to the Hilton. The Google Maps directions can be found by clicking here.

PARKING AT OR NEAR THE HILTON

The World Expo Facebook page has featured a lot of discussion about parking. Parking at the Hilton or anywhere in the Chicago Loop is not cheap; the hotel’s rate is $61 a day. Our best advice remains to leave your car at home and rely on Chicago’s fast, safe, and inexpensive public transit, cabs, or a service like Lyft or Uber. But if you must drive and find parking, use the SpotHero app (You can find it here: https://spothero.com/.just enter the Hilton's address, 720 S. Michigan Ave., to find lots nearby, and check that they 24-hour rates and in and out access if that is important to you). Your fellow modelers have reported using SpotHero with great results, finding rates at nearby lots below $100 for three days. Again, see the discussion on Facebook!

 VENDORS AT EXPO

Friends have asked on Facebook for a list of the vendors who will be present at Expo. Our vendor chair John Jefferies has done a tremendous job in organizing the vendors, and their locations in the hall will be posted at Expo, as well as featured in the show program with their ads and a map of where you can find them. When you have prepaid, you will receive an email 10 days before the show with a link to fill out the form giving us the titles of each piece in every category in which you have registered. You should print out this form and bring it to Expo! It is both your receipt to show at the door and the form you will need to display with your exhibits in order to be judged.
